Prepare some time in advance:

Take a little time out to think about the biggest questions you are usually asked about your area of expertise.

Write them down with a few notes, so that at the moment of the event, you can lean on them quickly and tailor the principles of those answers to the people in the room - their industry, their challenges, their customers and their outcomes.

Engage with your audience:

Engage with your audience during the AMA by responding to questions and comments in a timely and respectful manner. Be open and honest in your responses, and try to provide as much value as possible. Use this time to build trust so your audience is confident to leave the session with a clear action plan, or will be able to use the knowledge learned to unlock a pain point they are currently stuck on.
