Events are stand-alone spaces for hosting live discussions such as Workshops, Coffee Mornings, Roundtables, Ask Me Anything, Transformation sessions or reoccurring events such as Office Hours or Book Clubs.

They are a safe space to have conversations where powerful topics of your choosing can be discussed with a select audience, rather than posting to the general audience within the WONDR platform.

In Desktop:

As with the App, we have worked hard to make this process as simple as possible for you, we’ve put together a video to talk you through how to put together an event on the desktop site.

To create an event within the App.

We’ve made creating an event super straightforward, so you can offer the next level of engagement with your learners with ease:

In App:

  1. Tap the white + in the blue circle on the right-hand side of the Feed screen, then click ‘Create an Event’.

  1. Give your event a name, local time, time zone and date, or set it as 'date to be confirmed'. Then tap more options, to include further detail.

  1. Create an event description, include your link [give this a quick test to make sure it’s valid], and decide if this is free to attend or if you would like this to be premium content. You can also help set the tone of the room by letting members know if it is audio only or if the audience is to show their faces and the level of involvement you would like from them. Then, tap 'create'.

  1. For the final detail, add an image you would like to use as your banner photo [this is vital to include to grab attention] and start sharing! If your video link isn’t included, you will get a little pop-up at the bottom of the screen reminding you to add this.
